Terms and Conditions

We are here to help a sis out so we’ve written up a wee agreement to protect both you and us.

When you choose to hire one of our garments you agree to take care of it, and then return it within the hire period in the same excellent condition you received it in. It doesn’t get fairer than that. Looking and feeling amazing has never been so easy. 

This agreement is an agreement to rent a garment from The Curve Closett. You have the ability to wear the garment fabulously during your period of hire. The garment is a single use and is not a right for multi person wear.

The rental is for the period of time that has been agreed on. You shall have no further right to the garment at the expiry of the rental agreement and all goods must be returned as per the terms and conditions or further fees will be charged. Further fees include the full dress replacement fee up to 150% of the original cost.

The Curve Closett remains the legal owner of the garment at all times.

It is our responsibility to provide you with a dress that is in great condition, if your dress arrives and you are unhappy with its condition please contact our team within 3 hours of the arrival and let us know what parts of the rental were unsatisfactory. Any marks outside of the 3 hour time period will be deemed as the customers responsibility.

If any rental is returned in unusable condition due to stains, cigarette marks, dirt or any other undisclosed nuances then the customer is liable for the full replacement fees. The replacement fee is determined by The Curve Closett and may be altered by us at any point.

Rental Fees:
The rental fee for the products will be all charges agreed on with our owner in connection with your rental of the products upon submitting your order for the same. In submitting your order for the products, you commit to paying the full agreed price either via Card, Poli bank transfer, PayPal or Afterpay. 

Should something go wrong please contact us and we can work it through with you.

If the Garment fails to be returned, is not in a usable state, or damage beyond normal wear and tear, you hereby authorise The Curve Closett to charge your credit card a charge of 100% of the retail value of the rented garment.

If there is alcohol, fake tan, grease, make up stains and other extremely dirty markings, there may be an extra dry-cleaning charge. This is up to The Curve Closett discretion and we will invoice or charge you accordingly for this when returned in an unacceptable state. Obviously should something like this happen we will contact you directly. So please take care of our precious garments. The Curve Closett pride ourselves on the presentation and condition of our beautiful garments.


Cancellations:
If you happen to change your mind. All cancellations must be made within 24 hours from the initial online order made through our website. We will within 24 hours give you an online The Curve Closett credit for full value of your order. If you have a last minute change of plans once you have received your garment there will be no refund given for the rental. 

However if you decide to cancel your rental a couple of weeks out from the booking, let us know and we may be able to change the date of your rental or offer a store credit if enough notice is given, again this is at the discretion of The Curve Closett. 

Late fees.
If the garment is not dropped off either directly to us or to the post office (and scanned) by 5pm the next business day after your booking date, a late fee of $10 will be charged to you for every 24 hour period the item is not returned. If the garment has not been returned to us by 7 days after the date of your rental you will be charged the full rental fee again on top of any amount accrued.  

Our commitment to you:
Our customers are super  important to us. Our goal is to provide the best service possible. We love it when you look gorgeous in our garments.To do this we aim to deliver immaculate and stylish garments to you promptly and professionally. We try to represent the garments factually and clearly.

By placing a booking an order with The Curve Closett, we agree to deliver the specific garment ordered on the date which you have requested delivery, and at the address requested in your order. Should you receive a product other than that which you agree to please contact The Curve Closett within 3 hours of receiving the products. This can be done via email or telephone, and then return the product by drop off or Over night courier. If an error has occurred on our behalf we will then issue you a full store credit for the value of the rental fee, and make all reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement for the goods. The Curve Closett  take no liability should the goods not fit the customer due to an error in ordering the wrong size. Although we do care immensely about customer satisfaction so if you don’t feel our sizing is accurate please let us know and we will work with you to deal with the issue.

Our garments all have been professionally dry cleaned and are in a ready to wear state. Should you have any concerns once your garment arrives please let us now within 3 hours of receiving it.

Your Obligations:
Once the garment has been delivered to you by our speedy courier, you are then responsible for its safety. Look after it and it will love you back. Please make sure the address you have supplied us to deliver to has someone there to receive it, The Curve Closett  are not to be held responsible for non-delivery or any liability for packages that are left unattended.

The Curve Closett pride itself on timely shipping while using reputable shipping companies and we take no responsibility for any consequences of any non or late deliveries.

We provide a prepaid return courier bag, and it is your responsibility to get it back to us. If the Item is not returned to a Post Shop by 5pm on the following business day after your event, you will incur a late fee of $10 each day until you retain the item. Nobody likes those pesky late penalties, including us so please get it back promptly!

The Curve Closett reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect any amounts due from you as outlined in this rental agreement, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third party collection agencies. All debt collection fees will be at your expense…we would really hate to use this option, so please don’t let it happen.
